Cancellation Policy
Please notify us 24 hours ahead to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Cancellation Policy – SS Dental Care
We value your time and ours. To ensure that all our patients receive timely and quality care, we request that you read and adhere to our Cancellation Policy.
1. Appointment Cancellation by Patient
a) Cancellation with Advance Notice (24+ hours before appointment):
You may cancel your appointment at no charge if done at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.
Any advance payment made will be refunded in full (minus payment gateway charges, if applicable) or adjusted to a rescheduled appointment.
b) Cancellation with Short Notice (less than 24 hours before appointment):
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may attract a cancellation fee of ₹200–₹500 depending on the type of treatment booked.
This is to compensate for the reserved time slot that could have been given to another patient.
c) Same-Day Cancellation:
Cancellations on the same day of the appointment will be treated as short-notice cancellations.
A cancellation fee will apply as described above.
2. No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for your appointment without any prior notice, it will be marked as a "No-Show."
No-show appointments are not eligible for refund of any advance payment made.
Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future appointment bookings.
3. Rescheduling Policy
You may reschedule your appointment free of charge if done at least 24 hours in advance.
Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment will be accommodated based on availability, but may attract a rescheduling fee of ₹100–₹200.
Each appointment may be rescheduled a maximum of 2 times. Beyond this, the appointment may be treated as a cancellation.
4. Cancellation Due to Medical Emergency
We understand that genuine medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly.
In such cases, cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of the clinic upon submission of appropriate documentation (e.g., hospital record, doctor's note).
Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend due to a medical emergency.
5. Cancellation by SS Dental Care
In certain circumstances, SS Dental Care may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This may occur due to:
Unavailability of the treating dentist (due to illness or emergency)
Public holidays or clinic closures
Natural disasters or force majeure events
Technical issues
In such cases:
We will notify you as soon as possible via phone or SMS.
Your appointment will be rescheduled to the earliest available slot at your convenience.
Any advance payment will be fully refunded or carried forward to the new appointment, as per your preference.
